I have been looking at using kirby for an ecommerce site. The shopkit plug-in looks great but I have a few questions.
Does it allow people to both checkout as guest and make an account for customers that return?
Can it provide automatic emails when a order has been received and dispatched?
Is there any integration with a newsletter service like Mailchimp?
Does anyone know of any example sites that use shopkit?

Hi, I’m the creator of Shopkit.
Does it allow people to both checkout as guest and make an account for customers that return?
Yes. People don’t need to make an account. Their transaction and contact information will be stored in Shopkit, and if they do create an account in the future, they will be able to see all the previous transactions associated with their account.
Can it provide automatic emails when a order has been received and dispatched?
Shopkit currently sends the following automatic emails to customers:
- Notify upon successful purchase
- Notify upon changes to their order status
Is there any integration with a newsletter service like Mailchimp?
No, I’ve decided that a newsletter functionality is too out-of-scope to include in Shopkit. What would you need to integrate with Mailchimp? Do you want to author emails within Shopkit, or do you just need a list of email addresses to export?
Does anyone know of any example sites that use shopkit?
Here’s one from my hometown: http://fritschfragrances.shopzest.com/

Hi @samnabi,
Thanks for the swift response, I’m pretty new to coding and still figuring out what exactly is needed at the moment.
Does Shopkit offer anything in terms of helping the SEO?
Yes, besides using well-structured markup for page headings, Shopkit uses Schema.org properties to provide some more semantic information for search engines.
