We are finally back on track after quite some challenging weeks 
Kirby 4.7.0-rc.1
To shorten the wait for v5, we have some solid Kirby 4 improvements for you: https://github.com/getkirby/kirby/releases/tag/4.7.0-rc.1 The stable release will follow next week.
Kirby 5.0.0-beta.4
We decided to go for another beta instead of a first release candidate. The last issues (see above) needed more refactoring than we hoped for. https://github.com/getkirby/kirby/releases/tag/5.0.0-beta.4 But extensive refactoring jobs also always mean less technical dept and that’s a very, very good thing for our future plans.
This release isn’t just internal work though.
- We added a nice new
::toEntries()field method for the new entries field after your feedback. - We’ve added new icons and – this is not a joke – we added a Kirby icon for the first time in 13+ years. I can’t believe that we forgot to add one so far. Branding really is our strength as it seems.
- There are also tons of fixes and smaller improvements in this release.
We are very happy to finally knock down those obstacles and feel like we are now able to see the finish line.
