the first release candidate for 4.5.0 is here:

It comes with some nice enhancements and fixes. For those who are new here: The role of the release candidates for such minor versions is simple. We consider them stable already. They should not include any regressions or breaking changes. If you find the time to throw this RC quickly at a local installation and test it, you would really help us make sure that this is true and not just an assumption based on our passing tests
