When manipulating text with the inline editor it’s very annoying, that while selecting and hovering outside the field area the editor disappears and I have to redo the selection. The editor should be visible even if hovering outside the field. The text editing would become much more natural.
I have experienced this behaviour with the page create/page rename dialog/modal. but this seems to be fixed…

With Kirby 4 or 3? This seems to be fixed in Kirby 4, at least I cannot reproduce it.
I have noticed the same behavior under 4.1. It occurs sporadically. I use Chrome (macOS).
As far as I can remember, the error has already been reported on GitHub. However, with 156 open tickets, I can no longer find it.
In v 4.0.1 it is still not working. Couldn’t test it in 4.1.0 right now.
I’m on macOS and Brave (Chrome).
