Activate license on Netlify (or non php server)

I’ve purchased a licence and want to activate it, but at this point in time, the small site is being hosted on Netlify. I’m using the Static Site Generator to build the site.

What is the best course of action here?

Some one from Kirby can correct me if I’m wrong, but I would login to Login | Kirby Hub and add the license key there together with the domain.

That’s exactly right. On the license’s page in the hub, you can set your domain and download the license file. For your static site you don’t need the license file of course, but in any case the license is activated afterwards.

The solution looks like the right one, but at the moment, this only appears to support v3 and v4. I tried the v4 and my v5 Panel doesn’t recognise it (because it’s local domain and not the public one?)

Oh, we forgot to update that button label with the release of Kirby 5. Thanks, now fixed.

The v4 license file is the correct one, but it will indeed not be recognized for your local domain. This is not a problem though as local domains don’t need to be activated.

We have plans for a solution that will allow to activate local domains for free to make the license banner go away, but this is not ready yet.
