🔊 When using PHP 7.4.x, make sure to update your Kirby version to the latest release

We recently have a lot of users updating to PHP 7.4 but with outdated Kirby versions.

If you do not update Kirby when switching to PHP 7.4, you will no longer be able to login to the Panel.

I have another site on the same domain with the same Kirby that I can login too, so this cant be the issue, right?

As long as the accounts already exist, you have no issue. As soon as you create a new account, you will have an issue. But no matter what, you should update anyway. We put this here for a reason.

This is it:

PHP Version 7.4.6

Updating: Depends on how you “installed” Kirby. If you only downloaded a zip, replace the Kirby folder and delete the media folder. The media folder will be recreated automatically.
