The page directory cannot be moved - Error

Hi,

I am trying out something new with a new local development environment with Kirby, to make things a bit quicker I have copied the blog posts directory from an existing live site to this test.

But when changing statuses on the blog pages or trying to delete them I get the error message - The page directory cannot be moved. It still moves or deletes the page despite coming up with that error.

In addition it keeps setting the prepended page number with the same one each time rather than adding one.

I thought it was just a caching issue but cleared that, tried a few different things and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

It all works perfectly fine if I don’t copy over the posts from the live site and just start creating posts fresh but I don’t want to do that. Clearly it’s something to do with it getting confused as I have dumped all these pages in but just can’t figure out how to fix it.

Thanks

Lee

Can you share a screen shot of the contents of the content folder?

Sure, looks like this.

So, it turns out had a single duplicate as 189_post and 189_post, fixing that solved the issues. Something so simple caused such an issue, who knew :stuck_out_tongue:
