If I have a Home-page on which I’m not only displaying the textarea-content of the Home-page but also fetching the data of News-entries (= single pages), it it possible to still preview the home page?
To clarify: if the client changes the content of one of the News-entries, he wants to be able to preview the News-entry-changes on the Home-page before publishing the Home-page with said News-entry.
As far as I know, the Home-page cannot be previewed?

You can preview the homepage both from the Site’s open button as well as the homepage`s open button (Kirby 3).

Ok.
But how would that work, because from my understanding, the “preview” is actually just the page in draft mode. But the homepage would never be in draft mode only the fetched news-entry would.
Or for instance, if I have a contact-page with different fields, and the client wants to preview his edits, the content-page would also never be in draft mode.
So I guess the “preview” is not really a preview but rather an “open unpublished page” and only works if it hasn’t been published yet?
