I’ve used accordions and tabs fields/plugins many times. They make a great overview, but they also hide stuff. In some cases it means that fields can be hard to find.

And there is also a usability issue. If an error occurs, the field that is concerned may not be visible. Also, the user does not see/may be in doubt what she/he saves to file.

If you just need the grouping of the headings you can use: GitHub - kirby-deprecated-plugins/kirby-headline-jump: Kirby Panel headline helper plugin for Kirby CMS.

If you still want an accordion, you can use this field: GitHub - crispconcepts/kirby-accordionHeadlineField: Replaces the default "headline" field, and groups all content until next "headline" field in an accordion.

I don’t think it needs to be built into the core.
