Manual changes to a content file do not appear in the panel

There is a file /content/2_badestube/badestube.txt:

Title: Badestube

Text:

Now I add content:

Title: Badestube

Result: The change is displayed on the website exactly as expected: as H2.

However, the change does not appear in the panel. This is the case with every manual change made directly to the file.

I reloaded the browser for the panel. No change. How can I ensure that the contents of the files in the content folder are synchronised with the corresponding contents in the panel?

The Panel does not have “its own content” but reads the content from the content file. So should be automatically reflected in the Panel on page reload. I cannot reproduce this issue.

I guess you are developing locally?

I logged out of the panel and logged back in. Everything is working fine now. In both directions.
