I am happy to announce that https://builtwithkirby.com/ (BWK) lists 1700+ projects built with Kirby as of today. As you might have expected, BWK is built with Kirby too.
The website is powered by a set of custom crawlers running via CRON jobs. They add new pages from various sources, such as the official showcase, kirbysites, getkirby Partner profiles, and partners’ own websites. They detect Kirby, fetch SEO meta-data and generate preview images.
BWK heavily uses the Kirby CLI and commands, which are extended by a few custom collection methods to forward filters, offsets, and limits from the CLI directly into the commands to build a versatile toolkit for automation.
To make it load fast, BWK is statically cached after each deployment and CRON job (with the official staticache plugin), and the randomizer and search are purely client-side JS-driven.
The “inbox” still has more than a few hundred known pages to add, but if your project is not listed yet, post it here in the “Made with Kirby and <3” thread, and it will be added within a day or two.
Hi everyone,
I’d like to share a project we recently launched: https://ib-lenhardt.com
Our website focuses on streamlining global wireless product certification, offering support for type approvals, homologations, and regulatory compliance in over 150 countries.
The site was built with Kirby and is designed to provide a smooth experience for clients, offering tools like an easy-to-use type approval database, real-time tracking for certifications, and detailed country requirements. We’ve also integrated several APIs using custom Kirby plugins to fetch relevant country-specific information, regulations, and real-time updates.
Creating this platform was both challenging and rewarding, and we’re super proud of the result. If you’re in the field of wireless technology or product certification, check it out – feedback is always welcome!
Very pleased to announce an updated version of my popular Hepburn portfolio theme which is now compatable with Kirby 4.5+
Has a couple of little new features to have better control over hw images are cropped (or if at alll)
We recently released our new visual identity and launched a very fancy (for a law firm) website based on Kirby.
Kudos to the Kirby community!
We released the redesigned Pixel Parmesan yesterday. We use Kirby for content management and htmx to make it smoove (they work together quite nicely.)
This is the second major site I’ve released with Kirby. Blueprints remain goated. They make it simple for Kirby to have the best out of the box experience for editors/authors.
The biggest challenge with Kirby is how to handle “content” that falls outside of the “site with pages that contain content” paradigm. Of course, anything is possible, you can leverage the full power of PHP, but you’re on your own with that. I’m using a JSON file as an ad hoc database for the guestbook and visitor counter on this site. I also abuse some hidden fields on the site object for other purposes, but overall, Kirby is still the best CMS, flat file or otherwise.
I hope that projects that expand an existing Kirby website and do not involve a complete website relaunch are also welcome here.
Today, I added a cool
search function for
licence plates to my website. This is the result of my continuous development with
Kirby. I regularly set myself projects that not only serve to learn, but are also applicable in practice.

The following Kirby functions were used:
Integration of a JSON data set
Search filter for licence plates and city/district
Tag-based filtering by federal state
We just released our new website for the iOS App - Diabetes Diary Plus.
https://diabetes-diary-plus.com
After 4 Years (iOS dev only now) i returned to Kirby CMS for this Project. Why did i choose Kirby CMS after all those years?
If i look back, since early Kirby 3 not really much changed in Kirby 4 right? Panel feels faster and robuster, but beside that not much changed in terms of the main concept of Kirby right?
Anyways. It was a fun project and i still try to get better rankings in google. So if you know someone with Diabetes , please share that website
Best Marco
Hi everyone,
I redesigned my website and built it with Kirby! It was a great process.
I am a freelance designer from France.
https://emue-design.fr
i just rebuilt my website wirres.net with kirby.
wirres.net ran on an old ezpublish version (2.2.3) for > 20 years. i was able to export all content to kirby (~9000 articles) and i like kirby very much. still a lot of work to do, but but thats the part of the fun. planing to use kirby for the next 20 years.
That’s fantastic. We really hope Kirby will serve you well over the next 20 years
New Kirby website made for a Medical Clinic with an integrative medicine approach (threat body as a whole, not just symptoms - cure the cause, not the symptoms). Only in Serbian language at the moment, soon multilanguage.

There is still much I want to change / add / repair… but nevertheless it is functional I currently use Kirby for 2 websites, the first one being my portfolio, to present myself and my work as a freelance graphic designer https://chloemotard.fr the other one will come later, we have big plans
