We just released our new website for the iOS App - Diabetes Diary Plus.
https://diabetes-diary-plus.com
After 4 Years (iOS dev only now) i returned to Kirby CMS for this Project. Why did i choose Kirby CMS after all those years?
- Full control over code and plugins in general
- Full control over image, assets, caching, API’s and so on…
- Easy Multi-Domain and language setup
- Dependencies manageable. Server just needs php and done!
- Works easy with Docker
- Pay once, done.
- PHP 8.4 support (good LTS support. This website will be online for a long time even without any updates)
- No panel used in live mode. Content is done local and pushed to server via git webhooks
- Well, Kirby is fast. If you do some optimizations you can reach about 99% in Google LightHouse and other tools.
- I did +/- 100 Websites with Kirby 2 & 3, so easy pick for me.
- The main website was done in about 2 weeks.
If i look back, since early Kirby 3 not really much changed in Kirby 4 right? Panel feels faster and robuster, but beside that not much changed in terms of the main concept of Kirby right?
Anyways. It was a fun project and i still try to get better rankings in google. So if you know someone with Diabetes
, please share that website ![]()
Best Marco
