Easiest way to add menu item in panel navigation?

Good evening

I have read the basic/advanced/custom panel pages in the docs but they all seem way too complicated to what I want to do.

My goal is to add a single menu item on the left hand side of the panel. It should open the /panel/pages/blog blueprint page. How do I do that?
