Disable nodes for list field

Hi,

Is it possible to disable nodes for a list field the same way it’s possible to disable them for the writer field? Without disabling them, users can convert a list field into a text field, which is not the idea. (Also, it defeats the whole point of a list field in my opinion.)

The documentation says you can disable marks but no mention of nodes.

I always prefer Structures to Lists for this reason. There may be a way to disable the nodes (prevent from removing them), but I like the UX (add/remove/reorder) of the structure better even for single column structures:

Hm, how do you manage to enter other nodes than lists in a list field? Can’t reproduce this?

They are just there by default.

Maybe I should clarify I’m on Kirby 4.

Right, that information would be helpful right from the beginning.

In Kirby 4, you can set nodes to false.

Then try limiting the nodes to lists:

      list:
        type: list
        nodes:
          - ul
          - ol

Strange, this worked for me with K4 Beta 1 without issues.

I’ve downloaded the latest K4 Beta 1 just to be sure it’s not an old bug, and no, I still get the same error. :frowning:
