Can somebody explain the kirby-writer-marks for custom marks?

Hi,

can somebody explain how to use the kirby-writer-marks repo in detail? The repo itself is a little bit kryptic for me. Is a plugin? Do i have to rebuild Kirby with the tool? How can i use the custom marks in Kirby? Do i have to enable the custom marks in the blueprints? I guess it should be easy to use, if you have a solid understanding of kirby… But at the moment i’m still learning to use it.

The repository has two objectives:

  • :one: Provide a patcher to modify Kirby’s Panel.
  • :two: Serve as a plugin boilerplate for extending the writer field with custom marks.
