Add new marks to Writer field with options in an modal

Hi,

I am looking for a way to add a set of marks in a Writer field (inside a block).
For example a mark for text highlight with some color options for the background.

I have tried using the Custom Marks Plugin which works good if I want to add very straight forward options but I haven’t seen how could I build a custom dialog with options for choosing a color.

I was wondering if there is any info on this or even if it would be easier to achieve with Kirby 4 since I saw there are some Writer Field improvements.

Any ideas on how could I achieve this?

No, there is no documentation yet apart from this hint: Writer field improvements | Kirby CMS

But I would expect that you can also add dialogs using the plugin, in the readme you find links to the original writer marks (link and email, for example, use dialogs).
