Trying to run my live site locally, copied all files and folders from my host to a folder, dropped in htdocs similar to the Kirby demo download. The demo runs fine, tho I get “Server Error - this server encountered an internal error…500” when I access my live site. Can 2 Kirby installations coexist? Or is there something I need to declare in the htaccess file?
If you have made any changes to the .htaccess file on the server, those might not work locally. Running thousands of Kirby sites on a localhost in different folders is no problem at all.
