This topic has been raised before but quite a while ago so I thought I would ask here. I have a client that wants a booking system set up on their site, to allow customers to pay for and reserve studio spaces. It would need a nice interface for the client too, to add bookings received in other ways e.g. over the phone.
Is there any plugin currently with a booking calendar, or an event calendar, that I could build this off?

Hi @oyster not Mikey here but trying to give you some ideas. There’s currently not a ready to use plugin for such use cases.
Depending on what exactly your needs are there are a few systems to use out there, such as yoffix, anny, tripleseat, and others. I’m not sure if building a booking system yourself with payments and all such stuff around is the most feasible solution but of course it is also possible.
If you want to build it yourself, Merx or Kart are the shop plugins that exist for Kirby and Calendar View is the most suitable for the visual part of the calendar but not sure if it makes sense to build upon for your use-case, as it’s made for a different case.
It’ll be quite some work to build so I’d only do if there’s enough budget to build this. You can DM me if it’s for a freelance inquiry or reply if you have further questions for the public here.

Good to know this list of booking SAS. I only know calendly which is excellent.
Merx and Kart both have limits unfortunately. If they remain the only two pillars of e - then i’ll be writing plugins for both. Thanks Ian
