Hi, I have a question about updating Kirby.
If I have a site that has Kirby version 3.9.7 do I need to update to the newer 4.0.2?

Everything is working for me, the question is can something stop working suddenly?

Yes. There have often been reports here in the forum that a working installation suddenly stopped working. It then turned out that the web host had updated the PHP version. Check with your web host which PHP version is currently used and will be used in the near future. For compatibility with PHP 8.3 there is an update to Kirby 3.10.0:
