Moving Kirby from subfolder to root

Hello everyone—I couldn’t find any info on this here, so allow me the quick question: Currently, I have my Kirby install in a subfolder of my site (www.larsmensel.com/new). Now that it’s (almost) done, I would like to move to the root folder. Is it possible to simply move all folder contents or will this break the install?

Should work just fine, just be sure to move hidden files like .htaccess, and obviously move your old site out of the way first.
