Kirby panel changes image names (removes hyphens)

When adding images to a page, Kirby panel renames images removing hyphens. For example:
methods-2–amp–3-wiring—8400.jpg
becomes
methods-2-amp-3-wiring-8400.jpg
As a result the image doesn’t display.

Is there a way to prevent this behaviour?

Yes, you can set the sanitize options to false: https://getkirby.com/docs/panel/blueprints/file-settings#sanitization
