Kirby on Internet Information Server (IIS)

Hello,
I am trying to install Kirby on a Windows server with the Internet Information Server.
I have installed URL Rewrite and created a corresponding web.config. The demo page works fine, but when I try to open the panel page for the installation, I get the following message:
The panel cannot be installed

  • Kirby requires Apache, Nginx or Caddy*

Does the installation really not work under the IIS?

We don’t officially support IIS. But people got it to work in the past, as far as I know. But if you want to use another server but those three, you have to set this in your config, see servers | Kirby CMS
