I´m a newbie and want to get started with Kirby 3. It is possible to use Themes (for example the Modular Kirby Template) for Kirby 2 with the new Kirby 3?

Hi, welcome to the Kirby forum.
Quite a lot has changed between Kirby 2 and 3, so themes for Kirby 2 are not compatible out of the box. That regards in particular the Panel (blueprints) and plugins. So without knowing the theme, it’s impossible to say if it can easily be updated or not.
Maybe contact the theme author if he has plans to update the theme or what would have to be done to make it compatible.
