Biggest highlight of this release: PHP 8.1 support 
This has been more work than anticipated. 8.1 is coming with quite a bunch of deprecation warnings. But @distantnative still managed to get everything updated without breaking changes. It’s a really nice step forward.
We also fixed a bunch of the initial 3.6 issues – this was the main goal of this release after all. But we also added some nice new enhancements and kept on refactoring old PHP 7.3 code to make use of the shiny new PHP 7.4 features.
