This is almost embarrasingly simple, but I keep having to do it and someone asked me about it the other day, so here is a helper plugin for when you have a image field and you want to treat it like an image object and if the user doesn’t supply an image, load a default from the assets folder.
Kind of feels like something that could be baked into the image field in Kirby or that I’ve missed somewhere - love to hear if I have!
