How to turn a line from a text block into a heading?

Hi,

As I’ve written most of the content in Google Docs, I wanted to make use of the new copy & past functionality introduced with Kirby 3.6.

While this has been working great, I often find myself in the situation where I need to turn a line of text from a text block into a heading.

Example:

====================
heading: This is a heading
====================
Text block:
This is some text
This is more text
^^This line should be a heading^^
Even more text
And a few more paragraphs
====================
image block
====================

Is there a way to turn the line ^^This line should be a heading^^ which is part of a text block into a heading (with the content above and below it remaining separate text blocks)?

Any suggestions are highly welcome!

Cheers,

Stefan

If you don’t want to use headings within a text block, then you would have to create new blocks and copy the parts that should go into separate blocks into these new blocks. Wouldn’t know any other way.

Is there a way to use headings within a text block? The only editing options I could find where bold, italics, etc.

It’s possible if you overwrite the text block blueprint and enable nodes.

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to filter blocks by type (like get all headings) anymore if you do that.

That’s good to know. Thanks a lot!
