how to change the the upside down K logo on the kirby default theme?
I tried to replace the logo image with another image but that does not work?
Do I have to purchase the licence before chaining it?

Put your new logo into the /assets/images/ folder and change the filename in the header.php snippet in /site/snippets.
You have to buy a license once your site goes live on a public server, i.e. once you are no longer just testing Kirby.
