Hosting service in South Korea that works with Kirby?

Hello!

I’m currently working on updating a South Korean website, the site will of course be built with the best CMS on the planet. The current non-kirby site uses cafe24 as hosting which seems to be using a nginx server, builtwith done reveal much else. Have anyone of you used cafe24 to host a kirby site? I got access to the account for the website but cafe24 uses a lot of text images making it very difficult to translate, so haven’t had any luck find the information there.

If anyone got suggestions for alternatives that work with Kirby and has servers in the region, I would very much appreciate that too!

Hey… i dont realy know what cafe24 offers becuase the site text is in Korean (I am Native English, i live in the UK)

As a rule of thumb, any shared hosting that says its compatable with Wordpress, will run Kirby just fine. Obviously you dont need the SQL database that comes with Wordpress because Kirby is flat file based. The point is any host that shouts Wordpress compatability is more then enough for Kirby, because Kirby is more performant and uses less resoources then Wordpress.

I hope that helps you.

On a side note, Kirby is multilingual and accepts pulls requests for language translations. If you can help with improving the built iin Korean langauge translations, Im sure the Kirby team will be happy to help you with how to submit those changes to Kirby.

Yeah I have the same problem, I don’t understand a letter! Cafe24 also use a lot of text images instead of actual text, making google translate useless.

Oh thanks, thats good to know! Ill see if I they support it!

Sadly I don’t know any Korean, but I can ask the designer who I know speaks Korean!
