Allow spaces in the beginning of a textarea in the panel

When I save a textarea in the panel with spaces in the beginning, they are stripped away on save. Is it possible to not do that?

I can get around it by creating this (content):

Seo:

-
  seo-title: ww
  seo-description: qq

but I would prefer this:

Seo:
  seo-title: ww
  seo-description: qq

I think that’s come up before somewhere and the team is working on a solution, if that is the same issue.

It’s does not seem to be the same issue. My issue is that even if I add spaces in the beginning of a textarea, they are stripped out by PHP, I guess. It does not save them.

The issue on Github makes it possible to add spaces with the tab key. As long as the PHP will still strip the first spaces, it does not matter if I can add spaces with javascript or not.

True @distantnative ?

The stripping of spaces at the beginning and end of a field by PHP is indeed a separate issue.

I added an issue.
