Hi all!
Kirby Blocks are great to use and it is cool how they are extensible.
The only downside so far is in the editing workflow of the users: Adding a new block of content ist cumbersome, since it is tied to a modal opening.
It would be great to have a more efficient way to add blocks.
One way could be to add the block icons to the bar of the block.
Like so:
Is there a way to extend this without having to touch Kirby’s core?
I also saw there is some work going on with keyboard shortcuts, but the conversations seem to focus on sorting blocks.
Is adding blocks also planned?
Is there a possibility to add custom Shortcuts without having to touch the core?
