Adding a repeater / "new block" button at the bottom of the block field

[Beginner level!]

Hi, I’m trying to help some friends build a site from the starterkit. I really like the “+” button at the bottom of the layout field cause it makes a lot of sense how to add a new block — is there a simple way to add this to the “block” field type? Have attached a screenshot of what I want to appear on the “blocks” field.

There is a suggestion here that you might want to upvote:

There is no setting to change the position of the button atm.
