Why a redirect to a trailing slash?

Hello,

Kirby makes on our startpage (only there) a redirect from domain.com to domain.com/ and then to the language page domain.com/de. This means that the redirect to the trailing slash is unnecessary and from a SEO point of view unfavourable. Is it possible to turn that trailing slash redirect off?

Kirby redirects from the Url without language code to Url with language code (if you don’t add the language code in your address). You can fix this in your server config or in the .htaccess, it’s a server thing.
