So I’ve been looking for a plugin of way to add something to the panel that acts like the repeat of Advanced Custom Fields which you can use with Wordpress. After searching for a while I came across a plugin that is exactly what I was looking for. However, this is probably way outdated and I am not sure if I can still use it.

Does anyone know if there is a alternative for this? Or maybe even a native Kirby way?

If you need the possibility to add different kind of fields per item, then the Kirby builder plugin is still the go to plugin.
There is no comparable native field, apart from the structure field that only allows the same fields for each entry.
Alternatives:

I installed the Kirby Builder plugin and it does seem to work. However, the last update on it was a year ago. Is it really safe and compatible to use nowadays?
Yes, the plugin is still fully functional. I have no idea if it will be updated for Kirby 3, but you can continue to use it with Kirby 2 without problems.
Alright, thanks. Would be a very cool feature to see in Kirby 3 though.
If something like this is not supported natively, I’m pretty sure we will see a similar plugin for Kirby 3, because such a field is something that is often required.
There are a few reasons for that. Payment method issues and a new big Kirby version on its way. I have not made up my mind yet about things related to these issues. I will try again to figure something out next week.
