I know cmd+S saves. Is there a keyboard shortcut for panels search?
By the way, when clicking search the dropdown gets focus, so the user have to click (or tab) in the input box before typing. I would suggest that the input gets focus instead, assuming “Pages” to be the most used by most users. Then the extra click (or shift+tab) is only needed in case for searching files or users.
