Hi everyone,
I’ve just made Kirby Leaflet Map public. It adds a map block to Kirby’s blocks and layout editor, using Leaflet and OpenStreetMap.
You can add locations through an address search or place markers directly on the map in the Panel. You can also draw paths, for example for walking or cycling routes.
A few things it supports:
-
Custom marker colors, sizes and symbols, plus an optional legend
-
Labels and popups with descriptions and links
-
Different map styles
-
Embedded maps or a thumbnail that opens the map in an overlay
No API key is needed for the default OpenStreetMap setup. There is also an optional tile proxy that serves map tiles through your own server, and a “Load map” button option if you want visitors to choose when to load the map.
The plugin supports Kirby 4 and 5 and is available under the MIT license.

You can install it with Composer:
composer require tearoom1/kirby-leaflet-map
I’d be happy to hear how it works for you, especially if you try it in a project. Feedback and bug reports are welcome.
