Very interesting and cool. Eye opening. You really learn something new everyday if you want to. Posting a comment was probably evil as it emits CO2, but I thought the feedback is worth the spend.

A website I’ve built in 2 weeks due to corona regulations going all directions. So the organisation basically switch from “we want a printed publication” to “no that’s impossible due to the deadline, let’s make a website instead (me: lol)”. However I’m still very happy with the result. Quick-builds can definitely be fun. For those who are curious, the page-transitions are made possible bij Barba.js and Gsap.

Just in time for our 10th anniversary we launched our new website, made with Kirby. We are very proud and excited how fast this website loads.

Finally, at this stage, I am happy (enough) with my first Kirby site. It has taken a while and sucked up a lot of time from very helpful staff and users of this forum. I wanted to get away from WordPress, so many little things and some big annoyed me, so I sought out an alternative solution which turned out to be Kirby. Never thought I would be able to do this.
Just an old guy who wanted something I could control. Not a designer nor a developer but I certainly feel I have done a reasonable job right down to elements such as a Light & Dark theme. Not perfect but I will chip away at it
I have one other site to do so another Kirby licence to purchase this week and move forward with that one.

It’s been a while since I published a website, since I am very busy being a legal clerk right now. In Germany, when you finish law school, you have to serve as legal clerk for two years before becoming a legal professional - it’s called „(Rechts)Referendariat“.
When I sat together with other legal clerks last autumn, we decided to build a website for all legal clerks in the federal state Baden-Wuerttemberg - it’s still a work in progress, but it already replaces the PDF welcome paper we used to send around

Very nice! The speed is pretty mind-blowing. Any magic behind the scenes?
Nope. I don’t even have cache turned on because I need to fix an issue with the cookie for the color scheme and the cookie banner so once that’s fixed all three sites are gonna load even faster.
The minimalissimo.com site is using Imgix to serve images but other than that it’s just Kirby running on an nginx server and php 8.1
