Kirby 5.0.0-beta.3 is here! :rocket:

We’ve wrapped up the last features for this release. They have been in the making for a while and we are very excited to finally present them to you.

The release also includes a bunch of enhancements and bug fixes. We can really see the finish line now.

I knew why I was postponing deleting images in my project, comes just in time for deleting all the ugly or duplicated images :rocket:

Awesome! As I’m trying to build a module for Kirby that allows to interact with multiple items I’m glad to see some sort of bulk action made possible natively… Does it come with an API we will be able to plug into to design our own bulk actions other than deleting?

We don’t offer an API to plug into that yet. But we have plans to extend it with more bulk actions in the future.

I know it’s super cheeky to ask but are there an estimate on when the final v5 will drop :smiley:

I’ve been updating to the latest beta versions for my local dev and really looking forward to launching the new site with the final v5 !

Anyway really love all the new features so don’t take this as me being pushy - just curious :slight_smile:

We are currently fighting with two particularly nasty remaining bugs. We need to get them fixed first. That makes it a bit hard to predict. It’s such a stereotypical delay reason. But it’s better to get it done before the release and delay it some more.
