Hi, just a couple of notes for anyone using IONOS for Kirby.
Before uploading Kirby set your SFTP applications upload permissions to 604 for files and 705 for folders. I use Transmit on macOS and you can find the permissions setting in Transmit → Settings under the Rules tab.
When the upload is complete edit the .htaccess file to change: # RewriteBase / to: RewriteBase / (remove the # to uncomment). Save the file and load the website in your browser.
The most frustrating element was working out how to manage the file and folder permissions on upload. A case of RTFM I guess
