Images losing saturation on resize

Hello,
I’m using the ->resize() method to automatically serve smaller images in a section.

I noticed those resized images are losing saturation unlike the original images or if those images are not resized.

Is this possible? Could this resize mess with the color profile of the image or something like that?
Is there a workaround for that?
