I looking for a solution to hyphenate german text. I researched a lot but I don’t come to a solution and I don’t have a plan on how to proceed.
is there a Kirby solution to this?

Since browser support is lacking for several languages including German, you can use this polyfill: GitHub - mnater/Hyphenopoly: Hyphenation for node and Polyfill for client-side hyphenation.

IMHO there is no such thing as automatic hyphenation for the German language.
Especially with compound words there simply can be no algorithm to decide on a proper hyphenation. Consider the word “Druckerzeugnis”. Hyphenated as “Druck|erzeugnis” it’s a press product, but “Drucker|zeugnis” is a diploma for a press coworker.
So if you rely on an automatic algorithm, you have to have provisions to hint for the correct spelling, be it in advance or afterwards.
