How to export & import languages for translators (with block setup)

Hello,
I am trying to export the text content of my website so that I can give it to a translation agency as a file. After all the translations have been done, I would like to automatically integrate them back into Kirby without having to do everything manually in the panel.

I tried to follow this tutorial “https://getkirby.com/docs/cookbook/i18n/import-export”, but in the export under “content:” there are a lot of items that are irrelevant for the translation agency, like IDs, booleans etc. I can filter these out with a little effort, but then the import of the languages obviously no longer works.

Am I missing something here or is there simply no direct solution to this problem?

Thanks for your help and answers!

Kind regards
Pascal

I don’t think so, you either go the easy way and export everything, or you need a more complex model that allows you to filter your export and then integrate translations again when importing. This should be pretty easy with simple fields, but gets more complex if you use the blocks and layout fields with a lot of settings.

So I think possible but needs a plan and some work.

All right, then it is as I thought it would be. Thanks for the answer!
