How good is the search function on getkirby.com?

I searched for “cardlets” and got the following result:

Only the search via Google led me to success:

So my question: How good is the internal search function on getkirby.com? Do some (relevant) search queries remain without results?

We use Algolia on getkirby.com. We are aware that there are still things that need to be improved.

I had suspected that you were using your own search function. With an external solution you can only trust, instead of knowing if everything works. I hope that most searches are successful and no information is lost.

We will be adding back full text search. But even with that, results are not always ideal. Next step will be to add alternative search terms or something like that.
