Heya,
Sorry if this is in the wrong category - I wasn’t sure where it best belonged. Also sorry if this is a double post; I couldn’t find any recent mentions of this.
For some time now (months?), the search experience on the docs & reference pages has felt a bit limited. As we all know, just googling “kirby xyz” often doesn’t turn up the most useful results, so I put together a small search toolbar snippet to search directly within the docs.
The results are… well, they could be a lot more helpful than they currently are.
eg: I tried to look up the checkboxes field, but the search doesn’t even show the page?
I am fairly certain this used to work before? Or am “I holding it wrong”?
That said, I really love Kirby and I’m a big fan of the project and the people behind it. The care that goes into the CMS and its ecosystem is something I genuinely appreciate, and I hope feedback like this can help make an already great tool even better.
yes, I have a k shortcut for chrome - this does not solve the issue: in a search request like checkboxes the actual page that exists is not part of the results?
Maybe in future there can be a switch-button for each individual user which sorting one prefers. (For this screenshot i just changed the ul’s display from grid to block and gave it columns:5 as additional css attribute.
