in the backend I want to have field that I can use to choose a Icon of Font Awesome.
This Icon have to be show in the frontend as well.
I find this solution but I don’t know if it’s compatible with the current version of kirby.
As far as I know, this does still work.

I need it for my blog. I plan some different post types and want to display a list of the last posts on the main blog page with a symbol - e.g. for a link or gallery.
you could also embed fontawesome as javascript from their cdn. its way smaller than embedding the complete css file. they generate a embed snippet for you and send it to your email.
