Is it possible to set up Dropbox Sync with Kirby 2 now that Dropbox no longer follows symlinks?
As of October 2019, Dropbox no longer follows items outside of your Dropbox account that are linked to by a symlink. This broke Dropbox sync for my site, which I had set up according to the Kirby Cookbook instructions.
I tried doing the reverse of the Cookbook symlink instructions – so that the symlink lives at /var/www/mykirbysite.com/content – with ‘content’ being a symlink that points to home/user/Dropbox/content (where my website content lives). This broke my site. Does anyone know a solution for this? I’d like to continue using Dropbox sync with my Kirby site if possible.
