Custom panel field for Image drag-and-drop upload ? or that opens file upload dialog?

Is there a custom panel field around that allows for file, particularly images, drag and drop uploads ?

Alternatively is there a field that opens an upload dialog ?

I’ve been searching and searching but cannot find one :tired_face:

Sometimes having to upload a file first to the files panel on the left ,then go and select the image in a field, that may be within a structure field, can be counter intuitive. It’d be great to be able to just drop the image where it needs to be selected, or at least click to get an upload dialog on spot.

I’m not aware of such a plugin. Yes, having to leave the structure field to upload an image and then to go back again, can in. fact be really counter-intuitive. You could try to have a go at it yourself, though.
