Cropping images for banners and hero images

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a super easy/basic cropping tool that I could use for my site so when you upload banners/hero images you can crop them.

I know Kirby has a crop feature and I’ve used this to some success but I’m not really sure how Kirby crops, images so I’ve actually just been pre-cropping them before uploading.

I only really have two sizes, 2500 by 1000 and 2500 by 500 for Hero image and banners.

Kirby crops to the center of the image by default.
If you want more control, take a look at the focus plugin by @flokosiol. It allows Panel users to set the most important point of the image and then you can crop the images to a specified size in your templates.

The use of the plugin is pretty straight forward, but let me know if you need any help @JIrving … :wink:
