Conversions API – Facebook Pixel

Hi, Team Kirby!

There is some plugin or integration that has been made within Kirby CMS for the implementation of name for Facebook.

I await your response or comments.

Thanks a lot.

Regards!

Since the pixel is only a piece of JavaScript, you don’t need a plugin to implement it on your site. What you do need, however, is a cookie banner (at least if you serve your pages to European customers) that asks for consent before you start tracking and then only fire the pixel when consent is given.

Hi texnixe!

Thank you very much for the reply.

An apology I think I did not explain very well. I mean the new implementation of Conversions API is an integration that arises from the new release of Apple’s iOS 14.

I will continue investigating.

Thanks a lot.

Regards!

Ah, ok, sorry, I only read Pixel, not API :see_no_evil: If there is a plugin out there, it hasn’t been made publicly available, as nothing like that is in our plugin list.

Hi texnixe!

Do not worry.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Regards!

Hi,

Did you manage to get an integration with the Conversions API working? I have just had a client request this for a Kirby / Snipcart powered ecommerce site. If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike Harrison,

I regret to tell you that I have not been able to find a solution. I have tried to develop it on my own, but I have not been able to solve it.

If it helps you create an official repository on Github where they explain how to implement an implementation with the PHP language.

Facebook SDK

I hope and it helps you.
