A script to remove underscores from start of filenames?

Hi there,
I have upgraded a site from Kirby 2 to Kirby 3, however there are a hell of a lot of filenames that start with underscores (which are ignored by K3). Can anyone help me with a simple script to remove them? (I was thinking e.g. like the update-metadata.php script)

If it is only about renaming files, a script or command on the OS level would be the way to go. Which OS are you using?
