Which Kirby Version needs which PHP Version?

Hello Guys,

We have some Websites which are currently running on PHP Version 7.4 and most Hosting Providers cancel the Support for PHP Version 7.4 and lower at the end of this year or earlier.

My Question is, If i Update the Hosting to PHP 8.0 or 8.1 is a Kirby Update to a certain Version necessary? If yes, is there some overview which Kirby Version runs on which PHP Versions?

I don’t think there’s a general overview, but a small matrix would indeed be nice.

Hi, Thanks for your quick answer already Helps me a lot! If we have some Clients which dont want to Update the page for example. from Kirby 3.3 to Kirby 3.5 and we update the Hosting to 8.0 i guess the pages wont work anymore right?

And do you know when 8.1 Support was added?

3.6.1 introduced PHP 8.1 support

Not sure how 3.3 operates under PHP 8.
I guess you could test it before you are forced to change it.
